Attendance

The school will undertake on a daily basis, constant monitoring of the students attendance at lectures. Weekly percentage attendance figures will be available for each student during the weekly counselling sessions.

Attendance in class is considered as a very important issue. The school expects students to achieve 80% of attendance at class.

Students who fail to achieve this level of attendance will, at first, be verbally warned, and their parents will be informed too.

Attendance will be closely monitored after the first warning. At the next review, students who fail to achieve the desired level of attendance will be suspended. This means they will not be allowed to sit for the Final Exams, and will have to re-take the semester and pay the course fees.

Class Timing

Classes are scheduled between 9.30am to 6.30pm

Fee payments

Students must comply with the installment arrangements pertaining to their course. Deadlines set for the balance of fee payments must be met by students in order to progress through their studies. The school fees are not refundable or transferable under any circumstances.

In the event of absenteeism or failure in an examination, the student will be required to pay the appropriate resit examination fees which are prevalent at the time.

Assessments

The students must submit all the relevant assignments on time and deadlines will not be extended.

The student must attend classes and sit all the examinations.

Deferments/ Change of course

The student cannot change the course or defer the semester without prior written authorisation of LSC.

Text books

The student should budget as part of his/her expenses to buy the recommended core textbooks for all study modules prior to the commencement of the course. However, LSC Dhaka Centre offers wide range of core and reference text books on businesses and IT.

Computer

The student should budget as part of his/her expenses to buy a laptop or personal computer prior to the commencement of the course.

All courses and modules are subject to change from time to time. LSC/Collaborating University reserves the right to change the contents of the course without any prior notice to the student. In the event of the selected course not being conducted, a suitable alternative will be provided for the student.
