The LSC Dhaka study centre is located in a very secured, modern and independent premise in Banani, close to the diplomatic enclave and business centres of Dhaka.

The convenience of public transport around the campus makes the location suitable for students from all over Dhaka to access.

The centre is only at a thirty minute drive from the International Airport and within walking distance of Kemal Ataturk Avenue and Gulshan 2 – a hub of entertainment, shopping and restaurants.

The campus’ modern facilities have an inviting and friendly atmosphere that supports and encourages studying. The location is easily accessible from every part of the city.

IT facilities

Computer labs are available at the campus for all students. They are extensively used for teaching purposes, but are also at the students’ disposal for personal studying and are equipped with all programmes that students can possibly need. There is also unlimited wireless Internet for those who wish to use their personal computers.

 

Common room

This is an area where students can relax, have a snack, or chat over a cup of coffee or tea. The common room is equipped with comfortable chairs, TV, coffee machine and message board for students to exchange information and communicate with one another.

 

Classrooms

Classrooms are spacious, bright and equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The main lecture theatre is complemented by a number of additional rooms that can gather for classes of up to 50 students.One of them is the size of a lecture theatre, and all of them can accommodate up to 50 people.

 

Library

The LSC Dhaka library includes a loan and reference collection of all core texts and recommended readings, as well as a collection on study skills and research methodologies. Both print and online resources are available to help students with their projects. These include peer-reviewed academic journals; Data monitor Reports, sources of premium global information on companies and over 40,000 electronic books. The database contains Emerald publications as well as another world`s premium research database service, such as Pro quest, My library and EBSCO Host among others with over 70,000 online academic resources.
